Someone had asked me if MultiCharts supports millisecond resolution. I asked them and confirmed they do not support it right now but do plan to add support for it in the future.

@MultiCharts is asking for input from traders regarding their new DOM.

Check it out here:
MultiCharts’ [AUTOLINK]DOM[/AUTOLINK] – tell us how you want it [AUTOLINK]MultiCharts[/AUTOLINK] Blog

I feel very strongly about it being as close to static as possible, I really dislike dynamic DOM's. I'm assuming they are not doing straight up static due to TT royalties.

Thanks for the link... the truth is, they are going to have to include both types. There are some traders who prefer to have the price moving around, and others (like me) who absolutely need to have it fixed. You can't get away with only coding up one type of DOM these days, not with the competition in the marketplace.

I really hope that Multicharts takes some time to look how the Buttontrader works and how easy it is to use the BT DOM and the strategies.

BT is great, but you should look at tradevec as well... what they are missing is being able to click on the ladder, but it is pretty fast, and the algo's are just like NT ATM..

Hi,
I compared Multicharts/zen-fire and NinjaTrader with zen-fire data feed.
(same pc and internet speed)
I noticed that Multicharts have less data (tick charts eurex futures)
Can someone tell me more about this problem?

This could be related to the Zen-Fire servers they connected, lately NT switched to anothers server that work better.
U could try with Rithmic data to see if u get the same problem.

Take your Pips, go out and Live.
Luke.

Really it needs to be fixed or you can easily click on the wrong price level. The trouble with fixed is you are in Trading Technologies <spit> lawsuit territory.
