Who should Facebook investors blame for their losses?
Mark Cuban gave his opinion on who was to blame. The quote that should ring true with many here:
I bought and sold FB shares as a TRADE, not an investment. I lost money. When the stock didn’t bounce as I thought/hoped it would, I realized I was wrong and got out. It wasn’t the fault of the FB CFO that I lost money. It was my fault. I know that no one sells me shares of stock because they expect the price of the stock to go up. So someone saw me coming and they sold me the stock. That is the way the stock market works. When you sit at the trading terminal you look for the sucker. When you don’t see one, it’s you. In this case it was me.
FB mobile ad revenue is anticipated at around 72 mil which is very small.
Twitter is North of 100 Mil now.
Mark should stop smoking joints with his 20+ plus friends and pay them a BILLION for a photo (instagram)
Instagram=Polaroid shot turned to an app
FB created the best, and I mean the best platform for business to deliver customer service, news and create an organic following based environment. But, why free for business? 4 million business riding free..can you imagine just a $50 a year for business? $200 mil revenue. FB is run like a kibbutz with venture capitalists behind it.
