How-to use the wiki

Using the wiki is very easy. A wiki is designed so that everyone can collaborate, allowing multiple viewpoints to be shared and respected within a single subject.

You can find more detailed step-by-step videos here:

[top]Searching
You can search the wiki using the same exact tools you already use to search the rest of the forum.
[top]Editing
More information on editing wiki articles can be found here (to-do).
[top]History
A complete history of each article is maintained. It is an exact point-in-time copy of how the article existed prior to a later change. Each revision is tracked and you can compare the changes between revisions very simply.
[top]Discussion
The discussion tab on the article page is used to discuss the article itself, not to discuss the topic of the article. It is a very important distinction. For instance, if the topic is backtesting -- the discussion tab should be used to discuss how to improve the contents of the article on backtesting. For all other discussions, use the regular forum and not the wiki discussion tab.
