When I started trading Forex I moved to other platforms. But at the end I came back to my favorite one. So, I wanted the bid ask lines primarily to avoid entering orders around news and wait until the spread calms down. It took me some effort since I am not a programmer and I could not find that indicator but eventually here it is. No picture here because it needs live data

you wouldnt happen to know if the same thing exists for ninjatrader... the jt stats etc that are here not the simple show bid/ask with the spread... just been looking around and your post seems to be the only one that has done it the simple way.

The loop is pointless and not required.

Code
_SECTION_BEGIN("BidAskSpread");
Bid = GetRTData( "Bid" );
Ask = GetRTData( "Ask" );
Offset = 20;
Lastbar = BarCount - 1;
style = styleLine | styleLine | styleNoLabel | styleNoTitle;
Plot( LineArray( Lastbar - Offset, Bid, Lastbar, Bid, 1 ), "Bid", colorRed, style, Null, Null, Offset, 1, width = -10 );
Plot( LineArray( Lastbar - Offset, Ask, Lastbar, Ask, 1 ), "Ask", colorBlueGrey, style, Null, Null, Offset, 1, width );
_SECTION_END();
