Hi all,

I've been losing money for years, then I lost more money for months.
Recently I started making money and I think - and seriously hope - I will continue to do so.
I have a simple goal: to quit my day job

Does this sound familiar to you guys?

I work with NinjaTrader/MirusFutures and I mainly trade the dax future.
Looking forward to learning and exchanging experiences.

Hey there, your telling my story here. been watching big Mike for over a year ... on Sim trading it's great but live I'm "o" wins. keep getting monster spikes that take me so far away, I've tried to let it come back, the broker shut me down for my full account nad 3 min later it was within 6 ticks of my entry ... next time after I added funds a spike took out my wide stop, again while waiting for it to come back to me. This suck for sure, both hurts the ego ... went 18 days with no losses on the sim before I went live, thought I knew something???

Been searching for consistency in my trading. Have read lots of books and started with paper trading before going live with real money. Made some early on got too confident and lost my gains and then some. I know its uncommon to be successful at this but I think I have the patience to break through. Maybe this forum will show me the path to what I am searching for.

Hi Mike and fellow traders
My first time on this type of thing.
I have been trading the ES in sim about 12 months now using Ninjatrader.
I have experienced the full range of confusion trying to work out a reliable repeatable trading system. I have also tried dozens of indicators and chart fractals with varying degrees of success and after 1 year in training I believe I have worked out where the wood is and the trees aren't.
I am most impressed with your site and the associated resources and links. Well done I hope I can contribute somehow.
I am in Australia so the time zone aspect can be frustrating. New York opens at 12:30am and closes at 7:15 am here. So late nights and early mornings are standard routine.
I look forward to many happy hours blogging with you all.

Hi Mike and thanks for having me aboard.

I'v just started taking an interest in forex and opened a practice account with etoro, Not sure if they are any good but just using it for practice and research.
If some one could let me know of a better platform i would be very greatfull.
I realy like the looks of this site and can see that i'll learn alot and some day maybe contribute myself.

Greetings to all.

Damon.

Thanks Mike for starting up this web site.

I just joined and have begun the long haul of studying all the advice that's been given so generously on this site. There is so much crap out there regarding trading, and so many vendors with terribly expensive (and not worth it) information and systems, it's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. This is a great place to start for aspiring traders like myself.
