Newbie here...looking for traders that want to share their trading experiences
Newbie here...looking for traders that want to share their trading experiences.
This is a pretty lonely endeavor and it would be helpful to find fellow traders that want to share.
I am currently day-trading ES and CL...and occasionally I do trade spot FOREX
What I am looking for:
-Price Action discussion, ideas, setups...I don't currently use any indicators/oscillators
-how do you measure trading success...e.g. I do score 2/3 points daily and I am pretty consistent...is that enough? How do you measure success?
-psychological side of trading...this is an interesting topic
It would be nice to be able to connect via Skype and chat, also maybe it will be helpful to post on this Forum as well.
Regards,
Catalin

Once you open an account with a broker, you may request for a DIRECT license at no cost, with basic order/position functionality. But charting will remain the same.
Trading for consistent income is not easy, also is not very difficult. You being a beginner, I suggest not to trade CL, many times is a fast moving market and should be traded only by traders with experience. Maybe NQ is a better market for you, also 6B which is a beginners market. Then you can try 6E, TF, CL...
As a beginner is good to focus on 1 or 2 markets, no more. Learn as much as possible about them - tick value, volume, volatility, daily range, speed, etc.
Most indicators are not a great way to go, are lagging. Markets are auctions, price is the most important. Learn to use Footprint and Volume Profile and you will be on your way to make good money. GOMI tools are good, no need to spend a lot of money on other software.
As a beginner, for you probably is a good idea to become an Elite Member of Big Mike's forum and access the big knowledge base and have the GOMI from Big Mike.
You are very welcome. Big Mike is having webinars, tools, etc. and many of his members are supportive. Sometimes are posts by vendors disguised as members but Big Mike is expert in catching them. Always be suspicious when there is posted something about trading products by people with almost no previous posting, it can be such situation.
Success.
