I have a question about DeCarely Trading's platforms. Do you know if it is possible to trade with this broker using a Web only interface? Or is there a program/platform available that is compatible with Linux?
I don't use a Windows computer so I would have to either use a Web-based platform, such as E*Trade or OptionsXpress. Thanks in advance.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Thanks for the inquiry. DeCarley Trading offers multiple platforms and solutions for traders of all types. As you've probably discovered, once you narrow the selection of available platforms by whether or not they are web based, the selections go down dramatically.
Nonetheless, we have a handful of platforms that we can offer to you that should fit your needs, but it would really depend on the type of trader you are. For instance, some web platforms don't offer option trading, etc. Others involve higher fees, so aren't appropriate for high volume traders. Some of the clearing firms backing the platforms aren't necessarily short option friendly...so there are a lot of factors involved that might not seem obvious. Our job is to find the best fit for you, (we clear through 8 different firms so we can typically find a proper arrangement for any account type).
Please send me an email to [email protected] with your specific scenario (ie. approximate account size, strategy (options vs futures, position vs. day trading) service level full-service vs. self directed), etc. and I can give you a few ideas of what might be the best solution for you.
*There is substantial risk of loss in trading futures and options.

I had the pleasure this morning of having a long breakfast with Carley Garner of DeCarley Trading, as she visited my hometown of Cleveland for the weekend.
She is a great person, and a pretty awesome broker too. By far, the BEST customer service I have ever seen in a broker.
wow thanks @Big Mike @kevinkdog @Fat Tails for yr comments and others comments. I am pleasantly surprised to find more info on Options..... I knew i needed it in 6-8months but had no starting point
If daytrading am a strict ES trader......but its time to broaden my equity trades(day/swings) and supplement with Options especially in 401k/IRA. Target for 1st Options trade is within next 6months as I have very minimal Options knowledge but i know for sure that I only want to play Long Calls and Long Puts
was looking for Options know how and how to get more info and be ready to handle the Long Call/Put & especially if wanting to get this done by way of 401k/ira accts as they seem to have some restrictions...saw the upcoming webinar when I searched the name Carly on the fourm. See Carley has done few prezos before too.
Perfect intro to get more ingrained into Options & the peripheral knowledge...will check the webinars out....
In January 2017, we held an open nomination process whereby our members could openly nominate anyone they chose in 13 different categories. Some of those categories are: Futures Broker of the Year, Options Broker of the Year, Trading Platform of the Year, Options Platform of the Year, Mobile Platform of the Year, Data Feed of the Year, and Trading Product of the Year. There are also an additional six categories that are focused on user contributed content on our site, including: Member of the Year, Webinar of the Year, Thread of the Year, Journal of the Year, Programmer of the Year, and Indicator of the Year.
We then opened our voting system so that traders are the world could vote for their favorite in each category. When the voting closed, we selected the top three winners in each category and have awarded them as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (Gold, Silver, Bronze awards).
