I want to try CST T4 ($25 a month). I wonder if I can get whole SPX options chain via their API with regular subscription or does it require Options Pro package ($500)?
Regards,
BrazilForever.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
So, I signed up for 2 weeks free trial and downloaded API. So far I could not really find any examples in the download folder. I do not see any starting point. I would love at least to pull SPY price.
We offer futures and options on futures, so if you're looking for the SPY ETF we don't offer it. We do, however, have ES (e-mini S&P 500) futures and options. You would not need our Options Pro package to view and trade options and our API does not cost anything extra to use. Try this link for tips on how to get started with the API: T4 API 4.0 - CTS Wiki
Thanks,
Brian

I meant that I would like to see a complete example how to pull a quote for any security that you cover, it does not have to be SPY. I tried your link as well as links that your tech support provided, but so far I am getting the following error message
"A reference to 'C:\Program Files\CTS\T4ClientSim\bin\zlib1.dll' could not be added. Please make sure that file is accessible, and that is a valid assembly or COM component."
I get this error while trying to instantiate Host object. I already tried all three versions of zlib1.dll, which came with your Desktop. I also talked to you tech support about it, but so far no luck. You have very nice and extensive API documentation, but I wish you would offer a little bit more help for beginner programmers like myself.
The best way to get specific help like this is to contact our API team at [email protected] They have extensive knowledge of our API and can point you in the right direction. Let them know where you are in the API process and what the error message is that you're seeing and they can follow up with you via email.
Thanks,
Brian
