So I joined futures.io (formerly BMT) exactly 2 years ago and I've tremendously enjoyed the collaborative work that is available to all Elite Members. For the most part I've kept to myself, occasionally logging on to roast on some (what I believe to be absolutely outrageous) vendors, and making good use of the indicators available to me on here.
Its been 2 long solid years of slugging it out with the market, trying out different strategies, backtesting over and over, staying up till 3am trying to find patterns that never existed in the first place..........and guess what? I've come to the conclusion that, quite simply put, Markets are going to do whatever they do, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.
I've come to the conclusion that are no such things as "indicators" or "bullish zones" or "bearish zones".
There is only:
Risk on
Risk off
Chop
There is no such thing as "I'm going to make 20 points on the SP500 today".
There is only:
Riding the trend until the TREND stops you out
Those of you who are new to trading or perhaps thinking about trading fulltime, I really recommend you review the Elite download section for some of the tools available. You will save thousands of dollars in addition to obtaining absolutely stunning trading tools that will literally change the way you trade.
It has taken a LONG, LONG, LONG time to perfect my trading, and thanks to futures.io (formerly BMT) I'm at a point now where I'm comfortable trading every single day, taking my entry, placing my stop, and listening to XM Radio or surfing the web until the Market stops me out at profit or loss............at which point I analyze if I should get back in or just leave and come back the next day.
So in light of the fact that I've enjoyed tremendous success due to futures.io (formerly BMT), I wanted to create and share a Daily Trading Journal with my trading methods, my entries, my stops.
The purpose of this Journal is to inspire, and in my next post I will share some details about myself, my background, my trading instruments, my learning experiences since joining futures.io (formerly BMT), and how the tools that are available on here will truly turn you from a losing (or breakeven) trader into a winning trader.
