The change has been reverted.

It should no longer disrupt the flow.

The location field has been unchanged for nearly 15 years. It is anti-spam measure. You guys know me, I am not here to cause you a problem.

I will see if the location text can be made different for Elite Members, since there is no spam threat.

I apologize for this error. @GFIs1 @SMCJB @xplorer @bobwest @AnvilRob @Adapter @DavidHP

Mike

Thanks Mike,

I have just tried to revert the value of those "trading frequency" fields to <empty> but I get the following and the values won't be changed.

It will take me some time to correct that.

Can you propose to me better field choices?

The point I was trying to make is that the users who complained and were "forced" to populate those fields might want to revert to a status where those aren't populated.

Ok I understand now. Thx

I'm working on that part. But it won't pop-up and bug anyone, that was already corrected earlier this morning.

You might try adding something that allows for variations on the other themes, or combinations, or just something different, such as "Various" or "Flexible" -- it's often a good idea to have an additional category after a list to capture anything else... even it it's just "Other".

I mentioned this earlier, and had @wldman in mind as a concrete example:

bobwest View Post
As an example, @wldman recently discussed his trading. He mentioned long-term investments (perhaps years), option trading strategies (perhaps weeks) and short-term futures (including day trading.) What's the correct way for someone with that perspective "to inform users your primary trading method"? There isn't one. And why ask for one?

It's not just a conglomeration of different things. They all fit together. As I recall it, the shorter-term stuff feeds capital to the longer-term, with the aim being to keep long-term capital growing. (I may have gotten that wrong, but you can see the point.) Any one of the existing categories would be definitely wrong by itself, and all would apply in some way and some time. Not unlike what would be true with many people, I imagine.

Mike

No apology needed for me.
After trading for 30 years I'm so flexible, I can barely sit in my trading chair without falling out. LOL

Anything needed to make NexusFI better is ok with me.
I appreciate all you do.

Hi Mike, Bobwest,

In conjunction with xplorer we deleted my previously uploaded 'BollingerPro' indicator as shared.. It was brought
to my attention (and then explained - repeatedly) that I had somehow shared a 'non source code' version of what
I had coded.. I maintain that I hadn't checked the 'compiled' box but that doesn't matter now.. blah blah..

I was able to repopulate the description with the original wording and upload a new copy 'BollingerProChof' that
is NOT and does not contain .dll's.. I'm very much hoping this works for everyone to be able to access the code
as they'll have to on rollover.. (This was my original intention)

I'll try to share the link to the newly shared 'BollingerProChof' uploaded today in the discussion forum space..
I'm hoping this will satisfy the protocols and serve as proper notification to those that had already downloaded
what I had uploaded last fall..

Please let me know if there's something I've missed or should do to make this a seamless 'redo' ..

Chof

If you want, email me the zip file and the URL link to your 'download'. I will then manually take care of it for you.

Bob.

That's right Bob.

I just picked one and let it be.
