As I work on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) 5.0:

I want to solicit input from users on what they dislike the most about nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) in its current form, so that I can use this opportunity to make changes.

Please understand I welcome criticism but in order for it to be useful, you need to be detailed and try to provide an explanation so I can understand your concern. Try to provide as much info as possible.

This can be about anything related to nexusfi.com (formerly BMT). Again I just ask that you make it useful when you write your post.

Mike

So everyone thinks everything on futures.io (formerly BMT) is perfect?

Just saw this thread. Honestly, I like the layout/colors, the people, the topics, and the community. I tried to think of things I would change if I were in charge, and I couldn't really think of anything. Then again, I'm pretty locked in with my routine--I check my subscribed threads (about 3 of them that get updated on a regular basis) by going to "User CP", look for interesting new posts by clicking the "New Posts", and that's about it, so I'm not exactly a futures.io (formerly BMT) "power user." I'm sure others who use the site more extensively will have things they would improve.

It still needs a fix size chat window so it won't encroach the next window.

Hi Bigmike,

I think it is not fair that someone that is posting here on futures.io (formerly BMT) can ignore someone without having a reason for it.
I think that the best way to do it is if someone is rude than we can make a request to you to put that person on the starters ignore list so you can evaluate if the message was indeed rude. Just putting someone on the starters ignore list because someone did not like the question that was asked is not good. We are free too express our-self´s.

Keep up with the good work,
JJ

Mike

Well, I wouldn't call futures.io (formerly BMT) 'perfect', but to be honest I really can't find anything fault with the site...so, as @josh already stated, I have some sort of 'daily routine' when I log in to futures.io (formerly BMT), look at what's going on right now as well as at my subscribed threads and everything else that could be of any of interest to me...

...The only thing I really need to switch off is the distraction of searching the forum while I'm supposed to trade instead.

So this is exactly what @ratfink already mentioned in his own thread, but this is hardly an issue which futures.io (formerly BMT) has to deal with rather than my own addiction to futures.io (formerly BMT)...

The look is a little dated to me but then most forums don't look much different. I have no suggestions on how to improve that as there may not be any better skins out there. Also realize look is highly subjective. Any Web 2.0 skins available with the software you use. Ever thought about coming up with different looks and get the community to vote on what they like best with you as the final arbitrator of course?

Took years of pain and busting a few accounts before finally got my mind right. I survived the darkness within and now just chillax and let my black box do the work."

If someone calls you on the phone, should you be obligated to pick it up and then later ask a third party to decide whether you have to pick it up in the future? sorry, but c'mon man.

If someone is posting in a public forum he knows that he is exposing himself so that does not give someone the right too put another one on a ignore list.

The example of the call you mentioned is totally different. My phone is not public.

This is a actually a private website, owned by Big Mike, not the public.
The only rights decided are the ones by the owner of the website,
which is Mike. If he believes a user should be able to ignore another user, than it shall be. I agree that
users should be able to put other users on ignore if they want to.
