I trade via MB Trading with Ninjatrader and have been very happy with this set up for 18 months. I know some opt for Kinetick or other data feeds, but I use the MB Trading data feed and have never had any problems.
I had a bad customer support experience with MB Trading and Ninja Trader on a demo account. Ninja was not placing orders correctly on thier system. I emailed customer support and they stated that they did not support 3rd party platforms, i.e Ninja. So I contacted Ninja trader. They looked into it and stated it was a problem with the MB server. I emailed MB with the information from Ninja customer support and got the same response. They would not look into the problem--this was a few months go. I then got a call from an MB sales guy, unrelated, and told him what happened. He seemed upset and stated this was not true. He said he would look into it and call me back.
I never got a call back.
And thus, I have no plans on using MB after that experience. Right now I am using TOS for forex. It works fine, and is better than Ninja in many ways, but I still miss Ninja ATM....I wish there were more forex broker options. The PFG demo worked great.....too bad the owner was a crook...
Thanks for sharing your experience with MB and Ninjatrader, AuburnTrader. It's crazy to think that Ninja on PFGBest was their last
major platform support upgrade before it all fell apart. Wasendorf must have made the decision to support NT with their "resources"..ugh after
many years of their primary platform (graphically outdated) Trade Navigator. I'd demo'd PFGBest on TN last year and was not as impressed as with NT on Mirus. TOS Forex is fine to use I'd agree.
