I love market delta as well, but just realized they have limitations with the amount of historical tick data they can retain before the program blows up.... So i guess i also have to use a combination of ninja again with market delta. Since with gomi, you can retain data daily instead of just one big file, it helps to easily fix gaps, and there's no limit of how much tick data you can keep. That way, i can retain my tick data and use market delta as well. Im still researching sierra to see if they have the same issues as market delta.

I created a seperate folder within my documents just for Gomi's data, that way its more organized and uncluttered with other documents, and its easily accessed by gomi's indicator at launch...

I to , am getting setup with IRT after seeing what Fulcrum is working with. I've spent time with the IOAMT guys (Bill)
and some other folks, I knew that market delta info is something that is absolutely necessary. The only problem was trying to read the footprint thing....to confusing. Cumulative delta is fantastic...much easier for a simpleton like me to understand/read ...Gonna get Goldman by the balls..ha ha ha

Chad from Linn just trained me and some other brokers on RT today...super nice guy.
We liked the Cumulative delta features and market profile, but that is a whole methodology in itself that I would love to learn. BTW, seems what @ gomi created for free is exactly what market delta is charging for? or is there a difference? We hooked up RT investor with Rithmic.

I just wanted to mention that both Chad and Dr. Bill Linn (Linnsoft.com) have always been very helpful with any questions I have ever had in regards to Inv RT Pro (which I use for my primary charting). Throughout the trading world there is no other charting application that can match the full Cumulative Delta tracking capability that I have with Inv RT Pro connected to DTN.IQ feed......I am exceptionally pleased with Inv RT Pro. MarketDelta.com is also an excellent product (they are teamed up with Linnsoft.com for platform/development work) but I do not use Footprint charting at this time which is one of the main highlights for those who use MarketDelta.com charting.

One of the main reasons I continue to prefer Inv RT Pro for all my primary charting is the ability to easily access the 30 days of historical BID/ASK data from DTN.IQ feed. This task is very simple to perform within Inv RT and that has always been important to me. The icing on the cake for Inv RT would be a simplified and very reliable DOM that could be set up with multiple brokers and Ritmic feed order routing. BTW, nobody in the trading world has ever made a DOM as easy to use as TradeMaven imo.....hint, hint!

Agreed.

We have made TradeMaven routing via CQG and it's been solid and fast. Cheapest routing fees.
Peter Nanis the developer is one of the most helpful guys when it comes to supporting brokers. But, it's hard to promote a software when the software company is the broker too, it actually sucks because the minute you introduce a customer to it....you know the rest.

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

hooked up the two close to two years ago. I think the charge is 50/per month for TradeMaven and 5 cents for routing per side for CQG. I know this is the cost because some of our automation is hooked up to TradeMaven.
But with RT Investor, if you use Rithmic, you can get R-Trader free of charge, if you need a DOM fo trading, so no need to incur additional charges, unless you must. Now that I think about it, any system that uses Rithmic, with us you can get R-Trader free of charge, whether Ninja/Multicharts/RT/GenesisFT/MarketDelt/SierraCharts.

I did not know that about TM......I have been out of the loop with TM since they went over to eLocal back in the day (@&%^#). Data feed became the weak point back then and that is a deal killer for me....order routing has to be exceptionally reliable. CQG has very good feed so that is a great move by TM......glad to hear that info.

@ big mike ,

Just came across this thread looking for Investor/Rt. I do realize this is almost 2 years old. Have you been using Investor/Rt during this time ? How did it go? Can you post an update with a brief summary of pros and cons ?

Thanks

Hi garyboy

True that here on futures.io (formerly BMT) not many recent reviews about Investor/RT are to be found.
You might try the forum with many special questions and great answers on yahoo:
