Hi, I use Metatrader 4 and I usually display one chart with the normal price and one with Heikin Ashi.
Having the two of them in the same chart -the normal price above and the HA in a window below- would make things easier to me.
I have noticed an indicator has been arranged for Ninjatrader:
I'm new of ninja trader and i was wondering if there is a way in order to see concurrently the normal price chart and the heiken ashi in separate window.
When i plot the indicator and choose to move it in new panel window, the price on chart …
I am not good at programming. I have tried to modify the HA MT4 indicator but I have messed up things ad it paints an odd histogram (in a separate window, but the display makes no sense). The orignal HA mq4 (before I screwed it) is attached.
Any help is very welcome. Thanks.

After some searches and tests, I have found out a trick to move the HA candles to a separate window. I know it's a bit complicated, but it works.
1) Attach the HA indicator to the chart. Result: the HA candles are overlapped to the std candles.
2) Edit the code of the HA indicator from "indicator_chart_window" to "indicator_separate_window"; then compile. Result: the chart will be messed up almost completely.
3) Remove the indicator from chart; add it again to the same chart. Result: the .....Now the indicators will move tot a separate window (as an histogram).
4) Now revert back the code of the HA indicator to "price_chart_ windows". Result: the HA candles will be in perfect shape in a separate window.
I would recommend to do the above with a "clean" chart and save the profile, so that you can get the setup without the need to proceed with the above annoying steps.
