I had enough other challenges. I also did code a trend line indicator, but it follows a different method. It has nothing to do with trend channels. In fact I plan to use it for a dynamic wall painting.
I found 2 indicators on the NT forum:
- AutoTrendLine: trendchannel
- DynamicSRLines: horizontal support and resistance lines
Together with the info Fat tails provided in this thread they helped me to start programming my own.
regarding my former question : Is it possible to manually draw trend channels / horizontal s+r lines on the chart.
From there can you get signals, or trade on it.?
