Hi Graeme, ( @RTR1701 )

The two functions you mentioned don't exist at this point in time. I may consider including them at a later point but at this moment most of my time is being taken up by another project that I'm busy with so it's not likely that they will be appearing in the short term.

You can use horizontal lines on the chart or Ninja drawing tools to mark levels, that was what I used to do myself.

The 1 click ordering though is a limitation at this point. It can be incorporated but it would need someone to take it up.

Ross

Thanks for the reply and completely understand.

Good luck in your current project!!

Regards

Graeme

I downloaded the .zip file from your website, but I wanted to edit the code to try some things out. It looks like there is just a dll in the zip but no source .cs file. Where is the source file for V2.2? Thanks for creating this tool.

@habibalex,

Attached is the latest source. I tried to add to the first thread but I think you can't edit after a specified number of days have past.

See attachment. Just copy this to normal indicator source directory. Be sure to remove binary first. Then recompile this one.

@lolu,

Here are the settings for the screen shot I posted earlier. The split tape is just 2 tapes running at the same time with the colors inverted to only show the bids and asks separately. I find it easier to see where pressure is coming from. I use this setup with a point and figure chart to see where there might be possible breakouts/reversals.

Simple thing to look for is when you see heavy volume hitting into the ask (large lots highlighted on green tape) moving price at a previously rejected level it's a good sign that price is going to push up through to a new level. If you see heavier volume hitting into the bid (large lots highlighted on red tape) and price is stalling at a previously rejected level it's a good sign that price is going to reverse back down again. You want to keep on the number of bids and offers on the DOM to look for signs of strength and weakness. If there is 1,000 offered at the bid and 200 offered at the ask it wouldn't take much volume to break through the resistance at the ask to move price up. If it's right at a level where bears got short and are keeping there stops above that level it can trigger a stop run for a nice bump. Just realized that most likely you've heard all this before. Anyways, enjoy!

@Silvester17 posted the instructions for the 1LDOM modification earlier in post # 336 . Thanks Again.

I'm unable to see this "tape split into separate T&S" setup, in this link you provided in your post. Could you please show us this "T&S split" setup, here ?

I have my order book set to the RTH session so I can better see the RTH volume profile. At the start of every session the price column disappears until I refresh the screen. It's not a convenient time to refresh because the market is opening and I want to watching the price action closely. How can I get the price column to show without refreshing?

Thanks

strange. I've the same setup and I don't need to refresh.

maybe if you post some screenshots of data series and indicator setting, we could find the problem.

Thanks for the quick response. I was thinking maybe everyone experienced the missing price column on open.

I will reload the script and use the default settings and then post some pics if the problem is still there.

I removed my binary, copied the latest binary from post 343 into my indicator folder, recompiled and then opened a new 1 Tick chart for ES 06-13. Then I applied the 1LDOM template to the chart. At that point I should be at the default settings with the new binary. Then in the Data Series I changed the Session template to CME US Index Futures RTH. I am experiencing the same price column disappearance on RTH open on two different computers.

Is it possible to switch the static price column to a different location? I would like to swap locations with R1, or just move the price to the left of the bid/ask columns. Is that possible?

I am really enjoying this order book.

@spikebuck77,

Apologies for the slow reply mate, mad busy trying to get my other project sorted and out the door.

Moving columns in 1LDom is not easy as everything is coded in a fixed fashion and you'll have to mess around with the invalidate regions in the code which is a royal pain in the ass.

As mentioned via pm if you wait a little longer i should have something for you that will sort all these niggly little issues in one go. As of now I don't want to invest any more time in 1LDom as it's soon to be obsolete. (Ninja 8 will require a whole new way of overriding the plot method so I think it will mean a full rewrite will be necessary which doesn't make a great deal of sense considering where I'm going with things).
