In the DMplus indicator I have made a little box pop up when we are in CHOP mode. This is when the ADX is BELOW both the +DM and -DM .
I would like to add this feature ALSO as a seperate LINE, so that I can put it on a seperate panel only that portion of the ADX that satisfies the above condition. Another option is to draw the ADX line but COLOUR the portion that is BELOW BOTH +DM and -DM.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Thanks Cory for the idea. It may be another option in the indicator, but I personally prefer a clean chart. This is just a personal preference as it distracts me from looking at the real price action instead the indicator is dictating my decisions, and not the opposite.
I agree with Cory's suggestion of colouring the background to match a long or short. When you next make any changes, please can you add this to the indicator, if at all possible. The ideal will be to have a switch, which allows the user to show background colours or hide them. This way, you cater for everybody.
