Here you go....I've attached a few from this morning. I've taken off the indicators etc just to show the price bars. Have found RJays renko to be particularly useful in the wild moves over the last 2 weeks.

RabC,

What are Woodie Bars in your third screenshot? They seem similar to Median Renko. Are they somewhere on the forum? Also, the Median Renko according to its author does not work for odd Renko sizes (3,5,7,9,etc.) as you show 9 Median Renko.

All the Renko Bars

I have used all the different Renko bars available (or at least all the ones I've found). Of all of them,
I liked Better Renko but during these fast markets, I was getting a lot of gaps.

I have settled on RJay's Hybrid Renko bars. I compared Woodies bars to Better Renko and they
gave the exact same signals wth the CCI, but RJay's Hybrid Renko bars are by far the best and
consistent.

Woodie Bars are a version of Renko Bars. You cannot purchase them but you can lease them for $199 per month. Also, according to Woodie, you must use even numbers with Woodie Bars.

RenkoHybrid Bars should be used with even numbers as well.

This news is really upsetting to me. I say this because woodie contacted me specifically with regards to using these bars for his website, and I made it clear they were Elite Only. So unless he obtained permission from @aslan as the author of Better Renko, then this is very, very upsetting news.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

Mike,

I believe Better Renko works with both odd or even numbers. Median Renko works only on even numbers. It seems like more than one vendor have hijacked Median Renko from the Elite Section and marketing it as their own. Some banning may be in order.

WoodiesBars vs. MedianRenko

Maybe it is a little off topic here, but for those who are interested in the "new" woodiebars:

I have compared the original $199pM "Woodiebars" Chatroom Chart with free MedianRenko Bars.

And what i have found out is really disappointing to me.

As you see in the attachment my template matches woodies pretty close. All you need is out in public for free.

Median Renko here at BMT

ReversalBar_v2 here at BMT

WoodieCCI comes with Ninja

Jeff`sCCI, I think from ThatManfromTexas - for coloring the CCI and the Background

Those useless by him so called "CCI Bands" are nothing else then ATR Volatility Bands you can purchase for $9,95 here at www.micro-trends.co.uk. and use them with the standard settings and tweak them a little.
Not on my chart on the right is the pricepanel but also available for free.

I am sorry to say and hoping i am wrong but to me, as a long time woodies chatroom follower, it seems the 33y professionell trader has turned in to a snakeoilsalesman (or he always was).

Frank

P.S. you know his trading mantras are: traders helping traders or a candle looses nothing by lighting another candle (you only have to pay $199p.M.)
