So if the indicators do not transfer with a template....should not there be a way to know exactly what indictors someone has on a template? And a follow up question do NT 6.5 templates transfer to NT 7?

thank you,

HT

a) open the xml file look for name(s) after this code 'NinjaTrader.Indicator.'

b) they are not compatible.

Thanks, Cory....Sorry about all the questions. What is the procedure to open an xml file?

This forum sure is great with everyone in the trading family, well at least here anyways, working together to help one an other. You do not find that much around anymore. And especially from those that put themselves out there to have the answers but you have to pay me for it....well if they were really consistently profitable trading they would not have to steal the money from the unknowing.

thanks everyone,

HT

try this :

- explain what you wanna do
- explain what / who talks to you (It says there are no files?)
- explain what you tried yet

maybe we can find a way here ....

Fist check wich ending your file has.
is must be .xml format !

then read this :

Importing a template is not really an "import-fuktion" like importing indicators!

You just have to copy the template you have (the .xml-file) in the folder : My Documents / Nainja7 / Templates / Charts (if its a chart-template ) -- and the trick is done.

now it should be available for loading in a chart
