Hi, I am looking for an experienced programmer, who can code an app for sending and managing orders through zen-fire api.
I tried before with ninja trader strategy, but it was very complicated and unreliable, so it will be more comfortable and useful for me to make my own.
Please PM me.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Due to the lack of information about the Zenfire API i can't recommend spending much efforts in doing it with ZF - it's quite fitted to ninjatrader. Rithmics R|API is well documented with samples and you get an approbiate support. Wait until Rithmic supports Eurex data and be aware of the upcoming financial transaction tax. It's never wasted money if you have an own R|API application in your portfolio.
Thank you Koep, but with zen-fire i am more flexible with brokers, using R API I have to trade with Vision Financial and they ask much more to open an account ..
I use Mirus Futures with Zen-Fire, it has worked for me so well over the years and I would like to stay with this connection.
BTW, are you aware how to do create such an app. you can code it for me ? Tipicaly it is not something too complicated, it just have a specific rules for the order entry and bracket orders after the fill.
Hi rusko,
if you have trouble funding an account with a vision financials broker like DDT or Optimus i wouldn't do anything in the trading business. I don't know any major trading software which routes the orders directly via Zenfire API (except Ninjatrader). The more usually approach is to "communicate" to Ninjatrader to route the orders (AT Interface?). Coding in NT is very straightforward and if you can't make it there you can't make it anywhere else. With an good order routing API (like R|API, CQG) you can make it only faster and more reliable but not simpler (in no case - it's very complicated because you can't allow any error in that core functionality).
Let me hear the results of your investigation - i think that it's quite hard to find a native zenfire developer which can code your requirements in time and budget.
