@budfox,
It's your money. You will be the one taking the trades. You will be the one banking the profits. You will be the one responsible for the losses. So make sure that YOU are the one that decides / commits to what you are going to do. Asking for other peoples opinion on a public forum is flawed because you have no idea who is answering you and what their motivations are. What absolutely does not work is looking for others to answer the difficult questions for you. Pay someone a few thousand and they will make you a trader? Nope. You dig it out of the dirt. And there is good information on futures.io (formerly BMT) - but there is horrible information on futures.io (formerly BMT) as well. Again, it's up to you to dig it out of the dirt. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it with $2k. But don't rely on anyone to show you how to do it either. In trading, it's all you. Accept it, and start digging.

Yes, you can use Ninja demo to trade a live web-based account and... No, I would not recommend it.

Good luck.

timefreedom, I agree with all you say... but by budfox asking questions here he "is" digging. When you are a blank slate, you have to start somewhere. Once he has asked enough questions to formulate a plan of action, then of course, the results will be "all on him". I may be wrong, but what I see in budfox is youthful enthusiasm, and the answers he is getting from futures.io (formerly BMT) aren't so much trying to "tell him what to do", but rather to provide him (her?) with more information in order to make better informed decisions. First he will have to determine for himself if futures.io (formerly BMT) is a source of helpful information or not, and then formulate his own plan from the information he has gathered.

Cheers!

There is a limit to practical advice.

Sometimes the best way is for the kid to touch the hot stove. Then they learn not to do it again on their own.

Right now its the only source of information, If I knew someone near Toronto who was making millions trading the ES , I would knock on there door and ask for advice.

I dont know anyone here, and they dont know me.... I am assuming the people giving me advice know what they are doing.

It would be nice to know who are the most successful ES traders on here.

But I have a feeling the people making six figures trading this instrument aren't too motivated to post here
