Is there an indicator out there (preferably free or cheap) that identifies possible tops and bottoms via a paintbar, arrow, etc.? Thanks.

You could try the NinjaPriceAction indicator and see if you like it. You can download it from the Ninja indicator sharing on their forum.

You can also try the Swing(High/Low) indicator that represents the high and low points of stair stepping. I find it very useful. It can also be downloaded from the NinjaScript File Sharing Discussion on the Ninja Trader Support Forum.

Thanks guys. I'll look into this.

Have you had any luck with John Carter's Scalper? I downloaded it from the NinjaTrader Forum. I find that it's kind of slow to confirm.

Any pointers on how to use it?

I was thinking, and I haven't tested it yet, if I use entries on a 4 range chart (YM), Look for a scalp to appear on a 2 range chart. Of course I'll be looking for other confirming information on a 4 range chart but that would be the basis of the strategy.

Or should I be looking for a scalp on a longer range chart, like 11?

Any pointers would help.
