Cory,

Can you please talk about your trading strategy using this indicator. I just loaded it up onto a 4 range chart and it looks really good. I would like to learn more about how you trade this.

Thanks,
Jason

may take awhile before I have time to make an example of it.

Corey, do you usually keep it under "Calculate on bar close = false" or true?

Thanks.

It seems 40 or so people have downloaded this but I have not found much of a discussion around it.. From what I have seen today, this does a real nice job of identifying turning points based on volume (something I have always been interested in but never found an indicator I felt comfortable with).

Like any indicator there are some false or lets say "weaker" signals than others, but on the whole in my view this is worth taking a look at.

Very impressive Cory!

I have the Aug19 version, which looks different from this v3. Is v3 available for download from this forum?

Cheers
Simon

bar close = true because it needs to know where it closes, the idea is volume run ahead of price thus the s/r level should be good for more than just the first bar.

Cory, I wonder if you ever thaught of an indicator for picking up volume exhaustion. I am not a programmer, but I would like to know if you could think about it and see if it a possibility.

Thanks & nice job on the indicator.

Alright! I am within a striking distance to make it to the hall of fame 'top download of all time' turn out I got a nice write up from Mike Big Mike's Trading Blog
so what can I do for an encore? check this out, you also need dynamic SR indicator for this setup. And if you are fan of TRO saying see line color see bar color enter when they are the same then it worths a look. I am just paraphase him he might means something else entirely.

cory, my volume stopV3 is different with yours, I don't have vertical alert lines on indicator panel, and also mine is 1.2, not like yours, (20,1.2), could you update yours like your chart?

thanks
