dynamic equivolume is the name i think you are speaking of..indicator warehouse has it..very cool, the candle gets fatter if the relative vol is higher..i was using better renko with it, and it did have a weird cinflict, but still worked.for range and min bars , i believe i t works well.nt 7 ready also.its not free, but less than $100 i think, which is very cheap.hope this helps

I use these but have customized them a little.
The key to them working is to make the 'Bar Width' property larger.
The bar width needs to be 15 or larger to show properly.
That setting lets the higher volume bars a width of 15 and the smaller ones less.
Most of the time my width is set o 20 but it depends on the type of chart you like.
