I've just started using this and think it's a brilliant piece of kit. I've been searching for something like this for some time. A c# open source framework that I could use as a base for some of my own stuff. Really pleased that futures.io (formerly BMT) introduced me to this, if there are any other futures.io (formerly BMT) users that are using this then get in touch. Happy to share experience, troubleshoot, share code etc.
As an aside, TradeLink user, are you the original creator of the TradeLink suite? I looked on the TradeLink site but couldn't find much about the history of the product, is there a team supporting ongoing future development, how did the product come to being, future plans etc.?
I have worked with MarketCetera before and I know they are commercially backed but unfortunately my experience with them was that after a time they were taken up completely by the commercial pursuits and so the open source publications fell out of date which lead to the user community never really taking off. Not sure if things have improved now but for me personally they were using Ruby and that would've been to large an investment in time since I focus on c/c# and so without that supporting user community it was a bit of a deal breaker. Fortunately Tradelink is C# so that is not an issue but I was still interested in the history etc., if you care to share or forward me a link? thanks
* EDIT * Scratch that last paragraph, I found another thread on futures.io (formerly BMT) that covers TradeLinks history and creation. Didn't show up in my search first time. TradeLink, see you on main site forums then. All looks great.
