I had never heard of this platform before (Pro-EdgeTrader).

ProEdgeTrader - Free Emini Futures Trading Platform

Looks semi-interesting. At a glance they treat it like TradeStation, where you use them as a broker and data feed and platform all in one. It seems they support both C# and EasyLanguage. Hmmm.

Anyone have any experience with it?

Mike

Hi Mike

It looks very similar to the Open E Cry platform. Nice platform but IMHO Ninja is better.
I was with Open E Cry before moving to Ninja and it served me well, but I didn't like the
idea of having one company supplying the platform, the data and being the clearing house... mmmmm

I can unfortunately not advise as with regards to programming ( due to my superior lack of
programming skills ) but they do offer a free trial and a while a go they had killer deals
on commissions...

Hope this helps

Mick

looks like openecry relabeled I don't like java chart you can't customize it to do the things you want it to do but at the same time you can't beat free data and partner software deals. ProEdgeTrader - Emini Futures Trading Platform

It looks quite impressive, as if they have learned from the software already out there and put it all togather. Easylang and C# is quite ideal.
Being a broker and data feed though is just a bad idea IMO..Its going to be hard to get enough users to convert with that setup.
Too bad these companies don't learn from the very clever thing Ninja did with giving away such a functional free version in order to reach a critical mass of users.
