One thing I always look out for is better ways to communicate data from the markets and my application to my brain... which is basicaly what we see on the computer monitor.
I look at what individual traders do for visualization, and I look at at what different software/platform vendors think is important to traders.
To start what I hope will be an interesting thread, I present my two primary desktops. NoCharts is what is left on basically 24/5 to test whatever strategies I'm testing (I'm not trading live with Ninja right now), and Main is what I use to "eyeball" check my execution logic and watch the news.
NoCharts is all business, and as the NT log can't be opened as the same time as the Strategies tab, I keep the Output window open and try to code things so it is relevant to my trades and management of risk.
Mine is a four sceen setup (small and cheap 19" displays), and PrtScn shows it all.
I just had to rebulid this today as NT7b9 hung up (not a crash) after I added 6E & NQ workspaces. Have not tried running more than one workspace at a time. Maybe later today, in replay.
This workspace has 4 views - 8k volume, 6 Range, & Day all using ADXVMA Sharky paint. Also, an 8k GomVolumeLadder.
Really like having the T&S in the center of the action.
