I agree totally.
It also depends on how many contracts you trade. 1 contract in the ZB compared to 1 CL. In the CL you may be limited by the Margin...also most of the Volatility you see today...

I don't recommend using the ES as a ZB , or a ZN trend indicator or confirmation. They can move together but not always and not always at the same time.

Trading the ZB
I trade only the ZB and have been doing so for a few years. I used to trade the ZN but the zb has double the profit and double the move.
I use the ZN, UB as confirmation for the moves in the ZB....
