I don't like vertical monitors myself but could see why that's useful.

3 monitors is overkill for me, I generally stick with 2. Besides, most work desks are 4-6 feet wide and 3 x 23" monitors...

Ah, thanks, I didn't know about the passive GT 720 or 730s. Seems like a worthy successor to the HD 6450 that I've been using in bulk.
