Las Vegas Sands ( LVS - Las Vegas Sands Corp. - Google Finance) - This is a great stock to swing. I have been playing with this one for about a year. I also think it is great for long term. They are also nearing completion for the Singapore project which should be great for them.
Ford ( F - Ford Motor Company - Google Finance) - Ford is another company who I think will see some nice gains over the next year or so. They were/are so much more prepared than many of their competitors. I starting playing with this earlier this year in the low $2 range.
Bank of America ( BAC - Bank of America Corporation - Google Finance) - This is another stock I was playing with in March when it was <$5. I believe this is also another stock which could be double in the next 1-2 years. I look to buy more around low $11 range.
I have also made money with VM, C, FNM, FRE, and a few others over the past year or so.
There are many others I am watching, but here are a few I would like to hear other people's opinions on, and also would like to see what everyone else is looking at for short/medium/long term.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I love playing with SRS (Double ETF). Has very nice swings to play with on 15 min chart.
Unfortunately the volatility is little subdued lately, but I think that is only temporarily.
I have alot of money tied up in ETF's right now in my trading account - but there is going to be a point in august where individual stocks will outgrow these sector bets I have but for right now they are rewarding me $$
UYM - Basic Materials
GSG - Goldman Sachs Commodity Index
URE - Proshares Real Estate ETF - (i am holding this for long as real estate is the last to come back from depressed business cycle)

Sorry but I thought I would just list them out - its about upper xx,xxx spread across those stocks EVENLY...I started with only 7k this year in may and have doubled and in some places tripled my investment..I think its better to manage 1/2 of your overall retirement yourself...
