Hi all,

Does anyone know where to find a list of prior earnings dates per company (for NYSE stocks). It doesn't need to have extensive information about the actual earnings release,....all im looking for is a list containing the company and the date for each earnings release going back as far as possible (several years ideally).

I've had a look at Quandl and haven't seen anything (although im terrible at finding anything useful on Quandl so I might have simply not been able to find it).

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I pull Yahoo earnings/splits data on a daily basis and update my database, I believe I posted my R code to do so here some time ago:

Thanks Mike,

I've gone through your thread a couple times in the past, I see you make mention of pulling data from yahoo here:

You also mention in your earlier thread (before your custom platform thread) where you first started working on downloading data. However all that i've been able to see is downloading historical price data. I can't seem to find anywhere where you reference code for downloading historical earnings data.

I currently use python to download data from Google using built in pandas functionality (there is also functionality for yahoo), but it is only for historical price data.

I've found that historical earnings info can be searched for here:
US Earnings: Company Earnings Calendar - Yahoo! Finance

@Big Mike, is that where you get your historical earnings data (via R)? If so, do you use an existing R package or did you write something yourself to scrape the webpage?

Many thanks.

I used an existing package, I think it was quantmod but cannot remember. I'll have to look. That was just to pull the data, which basically pulls the entire earnings calendar then I store the info in my database.

I'm only aware of the getEarnings function in Gsee's qmao package to scrape earnings.com, see https://github.com/gsee/qmao/blob/master/R/getEarnings.R

This is a super late thread, but in case anyone else needs this.. I found it on https://www.earnings-dates.com/. They get their data from EDGAR daily for over 8500 public companies... all provided in csv file format.
