Good, simple, light screen capture program for videos?
I hate to reply to myself, however a few hours ago when I booted my
system Kaspersky popped up this message. Apparently they changed
their mind about that software.
See attachment if desired. I don't know why it's regarded as fine now.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I am looking for a screen capture software that will record 6-8 hours of footage.
I am aiming to record the DOM movements for the whole day while I am at work, come back at the end of the day and trim the video to areas of importance around pivots and S/R in order to study and understand what occurred with the DOM + T&S. After trimming i will place the clip onto my ipad to watch while out and about / at work or wherever I want. Each day the clip will be deleted and replaced with a new video to study.
Sierra charts and RT-investor dont replay the DOM as far as i am aware, thus i must use this option.
I know the Imac provides the software for free, but I don’t have an imac yet.
What software do you recommend that can do the above preferably for free or for a minimal fee?

I used Camtasia Studio to do it, and also record picture-in-picture through my webcam simultaneously. So I was seeing my entry chart + dom, plus my webcam.
Just remember to press pause when you are not in a trade. Overall, it was helpful for the bit I did it, but the entire process of maintaining, recording, encoding and then reviewing the videos was just too time consuming for me to continue.
But anyone who is struggling that can do this, should, as you can learn so much from watching yourself during a trade.
Miserably. The developer completely fubar'd the project, and I had to resort to legal threats just to get my money back (pending). I will have to start over.
