Warrent Buffet once said to be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.
I know for myself, I concentrate on buying at a discount after sell side exhaustion and climaxes. While that's been my approach for a very long time but I can't exactly say I've consistently bought on down bars, moreseo after I've notice early enough that the selling is getting bought into by players with much larger bankrolls than myself.
What are you guys' thoughts on this subject though. I find buying strength/liquidity on breakouts to be tough business and skews risk/reward horribly against the trader much (not all) of the time. The market always seems to be in a constant state of backtesting breakouts and demand areas.
