Hello,

I am looking to further develop my knowledge of quantitative finance. Should start with either Options, Futures, and Other Derivatives from Hull or Paul Wilmott on Quantitative Finance?

Input is much appreciated.

Personally I like the layout of the Hull book better. I think wilmott covers more topics in detail and his 3 volume series is very good. But I can tell yo that when i need to look something up or re read a section i am grabbing Hull more often than wilmott. Just personal preference though. I would say both are really required reading, and fairly dry reading at that.

Both are valuable books. Hull is easier to understand than Wilmott. I would start with Hull and then read Wilmott.

Many consider Hull's book the bible of quantitative finance.

At least it is the bible for beginners.
