This issue could come down to the type of CPU (speed) and the type of datafeed, and how many charts are open, thus how much data is incoming.
An unfiltered datafeed will push through all ticks and data (unlike a IB compressed & smoothed feed). If many instruments/charts are opened, that is much more data incoming that can overwhelm a a medium speed machine, and may be noticeable on a faster machine, as delayed or frozen charts, until all the incoming data is processed. I am guessing the TS provided datafeed is uncompressed and provides all ticks.
I don't know MC or TS, but I am guessing that also based on the number of indicators and their complexity, the data influx ends up consuming additional CPU cycles. I can notice the performance hit on NT7 at such times. Some of my hit is probably due to my having set almost all of my volume indicators on many charts to update me in real-time (calculate on bar close = false), so that I can see the amount of incoming volume on the bar that is currently being built.
