Possible Volume Delta, CD, Volume Profile in NT8, vs MC8.5

I am a Ninjatrader realtime license holder. I have a question about the possible new features in NT8. Will there be any Volume Delta, Cumulative Delta and Volume Profile chart types added for the future NT8 upgrades? If yes, when will the NT8 come out? I just received an email from Multicharts. Their MC 8.5 have all these features and the license is on sale now. I am thinking to add these tools for my analysis, but would still stick with NT.

BTW, could the Multicharts user make some comments on their experience on the Volume Delta, Cumulative Delta and Volume Profile chart on MC.

Thank you very much.

The NinjaTrader side has been discussed multiple times in the NT8 webinars on futures.io (formerly BMT) and in the NT8 webinar threads and NT8 wish list thread.

Thanks Mike,

I could not find in the NT8 webinar threads. The discussion on the NT8 wishlist threads did not answer my question. I will search the webinars later.

Thanks again

Mike, Thanks again.

NT support also sent me a email regarding my question. I am pasting below. It is quite political, and only suggest some 3rd party add-ons.

"Hello,

Thank you for writing in.

We're still early enough in the development process we cannot comment on any features that will be added or making any promises. With that said, we have had several requests over the years to add these advanced types of charting and we're seriously considering adding these features. When or how these will be implemented is what is too early for us to say.

We do not currently have an ETA for the next release of NinjaTrader at this time. Once we have this information, we should be able to say more about what we plan on seeing in this release.

In the mean time, we have a several 3rd party options to include these type of charting in NinjaTrader 7.

Sure, and you can also do it with GomRecorder, GomMP, Gom Volume Ladder, and many more for NT7.

Again, much appreciated. Only one thing make me searching for alternatives for Gomi package. I have not figure out how to backfill the historic data from my broker. I used GomCD and I have to record the real time data, or use some downloaded data from the forum.

On the other hand, I used a trial version of indicator from Flnal "TPOandVolumeProfileChart". It can pick up the raw historic data right away. This looks very convenient as most other indicators.

Please correct me if I used Gomi package in a wrong way, and pardon me for lack of knowledge of using this very well known package on the forum.

Backfill is below for GomRecorder. You cannot download it inside NT since NT7 doesn't support it (NT8 will).

You can do similar things with Gomi's tools if you set it to UseNinjaFile or similar setting. Please take further Gomi questions to their appropriate threads (not here) to prevent a split topic.
