Hello,

I use Bloomberg a lot for work and like the GIP tick chart setting. I find it easy to read so wanted to replicate it when outside the office doing my personal trading.

Does anyone know which Tick size would replicate it on a retail charting package such as ProReal, NT, Sierra etc?
Even if it is not exact, something within the range would be of great help and then I could tweak it around a bit. Google search has come up with zilch!

Cheers,

Awls

I have spoken to one of the chart technicians over at Bloomberg and he told me that the GIP is not a true tick chart as they filter out certain trades based on their conditions codes. This is unfortunate as it means that with a simple tick chart I won't be able to replicate their charts...I guess that's what you pay for but unfortunately I cannot afford my own personal terminal!

As a continuation then. I am looking for an ideal tick chart to use with the FESX. I usually just use the chart to pinpoint areas of interest (S/R zones, H/L areas etc). Any recommendations of ones to try that give a good overall picture?
