Does anyone know how to add alerts (arrows and sound wave files) to the ADXVMA for Sharky indicator?

It seems like it would be useful to have the option an arrow when it goes from neutral to long or neutral to short.

Naturally I know "how". Just add the DrawArrowUp and DrawArrowDown to the NinjaScript. Now, if you want something to do it for you...

If you want to post the exact .cs file of what you want modified, I will probably have time to do it for you tonight or tomorrow.

Todd,

Adding alerts is how I learned some of the basics of coding if you want to learn more also!

I suggest trying to tackle it yourself if you're inclined to find a file (on futures.io (formerly BMT) or NinjaSupport Forum) that has the code snippet and cut and paste into the .cs file. When I'm making a mod, I always "file save as" first so I have the original to fall back on if it messes up.

If you try it, then post the portion or the whole file and someone could check your syntax. Plus you'll learn all about the various sound alerts you could have. I like "Train" and "alarma_submarino".

Good luck,
Kirk

Thanks Mike,

I've posted the CS file below... this is the adxvma for sharky from the download section. If you could add inputs for arrows and alerts (like those inputs in the current DMA code) that would be much appreciated. I will try to learn more coding as we move forward.
