When attempting to import a custom NinjaScript file, I receive the following error message:
"You have custom NinjaScript files on your pc that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import NinjaScript Archive File"
Unfortunately NinjaTrader fails to tell me which file has an error and where it's located.
Question...how do I fix this error so I can import a custom NinjaTrader file?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Edit any ninjascript (indicator or strategy) and compile it to see the list of errors in all cs files in NT folder. This way you will know which one contains errors
Now when I try to compile an indicator in hopes of it giving me a list of problem indicators so I can delete them Ninjatrader just says it has to close.
Time after time using different dependable indicators to compile NJ still closes itself.
If you are running NT7 beta it may simply be a bug.
You may want to cosider deleting (moving to another folder) all custom indicators and strategies from NT folder (custom indicators are all the cs files that don't start with "@").
Try deleting the most recently added ninjascript files first and see if this helps to successfully compile.
