I set NT7 (via tools/simulation) to not open in simu;ation, i.e. I UNtick the simulation option. But every time I open NT I have to manually change the chart trader from sim to real account. Is that normal? Why having a global set up if one still has to do it everytime you start NT?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
ZT, in both places I had global simulation disabled, but still upon reboot everything comes up on simulation. I was told by NT rep that NT7 is built that way but does not make sense to me.
I was given a choice when NT beta 16 was installed of starting in global simulation or not. I chose to ALWAYS start in Global simulation. Just to be consistent. I then check the box under file when I want to go live.
Need to protect myself, as I have made trades over the years either way accidentally. Fine if you make a few $$, not so good when trying out how large a stop you should use & think it is SIM.
