I'm really new to AMP/Multicharts.NET but, I've been around software a lot in the last 20 some years. Usually when somebody offers a software update it's just that...an update.
I loaded the MC.NET update and it turned out to be a complete re-install.
Wiped out the save workspaces, previous credentials, whole nine yards. Lets you start from scratch all over again.
Is this the normal behavior for the free version of AMP/Muticharts.NET?
I'm guessing it is, but I'd like to hear from others experiences.

Hello @eric73 Past the first install of AMP Multichart.NET special edition, you should not do a full reinstall for upgrades.
Find the help button, and just install the update. After that, your workspace should be preserved along with everything else. For example, now CQG has continuous charts ob MC .NET Spedicla edition Upgrade > Historical Data - New Continuous Contracts
