Does anyone have experience trading multiple accounts with IB Friends and Family? I would like to place trades on a single chart and have those replicated and size adjusted across accounts. I currently use ninjatrader but I dont know if this platform would work. Is this functionality on the backend/IB software, or does it have to be supported by the front end, ninjatrader?

I can only provide dated information which may not be of any value. About 8 years ago I had a F&F account. Trading purely from IB's non-chart-based format, it was pretty slick. If I remember correctly, you could setup the "allocation" at #contracts specifically for the various accounts. Alternatively, the gains/losses could be distributed based on the % of capital available in each of the F&F accounts.

Sadly, by the time I started using NT, I was not using IB. It would be interesting to know how much of the IB-only (BE) functionality exists using the front end.

I just did this setting up an an advisory account. You don't need a front-end platform. I did it all in R and then Python (I finally threw in the towel with R - it was/is my favorite language). Check out Interactive Brokers API Documentation on GitHub. https://interactivebrokers.github.io/tws-api/

It will explain how to set it up in Java, C#, Python, C++, and VS. I hated just having a back-end program running, so I eventually made myself a fancy GUI with JavaScript and Adobe Creative Cloud lol.

You also may be able to connect NinjaTrader with IB TWS using the Interactive Brokers IB Gateway app (you can download it on their website).
