When I started nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) in June 2009 a group of my friends followed. We all traders Futures, so the site quickly became populated with a lot of Futures discussions. That lead to more Futures discussions, and so forth.
However, over the last year the site has enjoyed exponential growth, and a large number of members on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) are not Futures traders any longer. I wanted to setup a new section of subforums for these traders to discuss topics with other like minded traders based on the types of instruments they trade.
Today I am happy to announce I've created a small number of new subforums to make it easier for traders to get grouped with other traders with similar interests. You'll find the new subforums section under the Team Trading category on the forum home page. The list of new subforums is as follows:
I want all traders to feel like they have a place to socialize where they feel at home. Now that we're covering all the basics, no one should feel left out -- even if you don't trade futures!
If you consider yourself an expert trader in any of these areas and want to help moderate and lead discussions in a particular subforum representative of your experience, please private message me.
I don't know how much interest there will be here but you may want a Stock Investing thread vs. just trading. The Investing thread would be for longer term than swing trading, that is unless you meant the Stock trading to cover day, swing, and investing.
For now, the Stock subforum (it is not a thread, its an entire forum) will cover all aspects. Later over time I will look to break it down into scalping, day trading, swing trading and position trading/investing.
You can create a new thread in the stock subforum and just include the ticker symbol on the thread title, then start a discussion of any type regarding that company.
