Just my 2 cents...

I found a way to drop my stress while I am in a trade from a 9(out of 10) to a 0(YES A 0!!!). I got the idea from seeing people at the gym listening to mp3 players while they workout. Now, as soon as I get into a trade I crank up my mp3 player, with the music I would listen to when I workout, and now I literally have ZERO stress while in a trade.

I hope this helps others as well.

It's a good idea. But I find what works best is to trade just small/big enough that you don't care too much. It just needs to be a non-event. Over time you can increase size as you desensitize yourself, but in the beginning most people simply trade too big.

For some, futures in general is just too big, better to use spot forex with a reputable broker and trade $1/pip.

You can trade that on the CME as well

Yes sure, the M6E is $1.25/tick, but the commission and spreads are not competitive with reputable spot forex brokers.

I agree.
The FX cash guys came with this contract first, so I am sure their spreads are tighter.
Like The ES that started over a decade and is still building volume, this contracts one day could take off.
The CME rate on these is low as well as the margin, and the commissions will drop as open interest and volume will build up.

I would sometime play angry birds while in a position - it also helps to prevent me from taking profit too early

I would have though that would be true with Micro gold. Free commission for awhile, but the spread was always about 20 ticks give or take or about what the emini gold spread was two ticks give or take...

I think intraday options of the spy are pretty good for core trades and could work for scalping with a $1 spread and a decent Beta.

Information overload: How to cope - CNN.com

This is very relevant to relieving stress.

I like to take at least 1 power nap per day (weekends tend to get in two).

I didn't find this article myself (as I don't watch news); Patrick from infinity futures showed me the article in this video:

- first ~6 minutes of this video is about relieving stress.
