I am having an issue concerning the jtRangeMarker7.

I am not tech savy, but when I open an "Output" window in NT7....4, I find that the jtRangeMarker7 is printing all kinds of lines (see attachment).

Again, I am not tech savy by any stretch of the imagination, but is this normal?

Thanks for the bother.

The indicator throws exceptions, which it prints to the output file. The error messages show that the brush, which is used for DrawString has not been defined properly, as it can take the value null, which should not be the case.

The brush in question is SolidBrush chartFontBrush. The value is set in line 165. This section of the code is only executed for bars built from ticks.

What type of chart did you use the indicator for?

Fat Tails:

I am using a 4 Range chart (see attachments below) of the 6E and have TT as a data feed (not sure that should cause any issue though).

I would appreciate any help - I have no proof, I just think that my charts update "funny" (maybe jump from time to time).

Thanks for the support!

You can try the modified version below, maybe it reduces the number of exceptions thrown.

Thanks Fat Tails!

I will continue to observe the revised indicator, but as of now, I have a great feeling about it. I will "watch" it on a Range chart without any other indicators and one chart with other indicators added to see if there is a difference - I would think there would be no difference though.

I tried to "fix" the issue that you had pointed out in an earlier post, but could not get the change to allow the indie to compile. It takes someone much smarter than I to get it right.

Again, thanks for the effort and your patience with all of us on futures.io (formerly BMT).
