This is the only thing I could find on my search:

Is tickdata.com the only recommended source for ascii csv?

It's $125/year (with a $250 min) so I guess techincally, it's $250/2 years with an option to buy at $125 each additional years.

Before I sink several hundred dollars into purchasing...

Has anyone bought used tickdata.com products before?

From my searches about MultiCharts, apprently not all data streams and tick data are equal (who outside of a total friggin' geek would think otherwise).

From what I've read, apparently bloomberg is the cadillac (and more expensive) tick data.....

Can anyone recommend more options for purchasing ascii csv data? Is there such a thing for the best "value" (quality for dollar spent) with respect to any other sources?

Something like 7 years or more of ES tick data is in Elite Circle, and 2 or 3 years of CL tick data, plus a few others.

And free Forex ECN tick data can be downloaded from Dukascopy (see for example this guide: Tick data - 99% modeling quality with Metatrader 4 | Birt's EA review)

Mike, I've searched, but can only find continuous minute data.

If you're talking about futures, why not get them directly from the source?

Historical Data from [AUTOLINK]CME[/AUTOLINK] Group

CQG has excellent data and is reasonably priced:

Nanex is also supposed to be quite good:
