What are you guys doing for historical tick data? I've been looking around and like the tickdata.com offering as the software app that comes with it allows me to easily build different time series for use in some analytical software I use... …
Is tickdata.com the only recommended source for ascii csv?
It's $125/year (with a $250 min) so I guess techincally, it's $250/2 years with an option to buy at $125 each additional years.
Before I sink several hundred dollars into purchasing...
Has anyone bought used tickdata.com products before?
From my searches about MultiCharts, apprently not all data streams and tick data are equal (who outside of a total friggin' geek would think otherwise).
From what I've read, apparently bloomberg is the cadillac (and more expensive) tick data.....
Can anyone recommend more options for purchasing ascii csv data? Is there such a thing for the best "value" (quality for dollar spent) with respect to any other sources?
