I was just curious if anyone had any info or exposure to The Trading Den-Simon Townshed? I ask because I signed up for a trial with Sceeto/algofuturesdotcom/Carl Weiss and was directed by Carl to check them out. I am going to ask Carl about them, but I would like to hear if anybody knows anything about this group. TIA and Good Trading.

Dan

I spent three months in the Den from May to July 2014.

I joined because I intended to learn orderflow reading, but wasn't given any tuition about it. In fact the Den was basically a signal room, and only after many months a member would be allowed to watch the videos explaining how Den's strategies work.

I never got to that point, but even if I did, it would probably be like reading yesterday's news: in fact during my relatively short stay in the Den, the guys at the helm (Simon and Aldo Lagrutta) frantically tried at least four different strategies on countless futures contracts. So what started in May as an orderflow-based ES scalping room, ended up by mid-July as a CL swing trades signal service, with completely different risk parameters. Of course, money was consistently lost in the process.

The equity curve they advertise is legit to my experience, but it doesn't take commissions into any consideration. Therefore it would look substantially different to any retail trader.

Was late to the party today - i curiously signed up for the Simon Townsend - see explosivemoves.com
a webinar today running all week at your chosen time of convenience.
Classic pre-recorded - comments section blocked so how do you even ask the supposed questions that were being answered. Made up questions - absolute classic scam nonsense. A secret pattern to get in trades that run for days.
You have been warned anyone else who is drawn to this. I havent listened to a scam artist in years i stay away but this UK guy intrigued me as i had not heard of him. Anyways my 2cents

I have previously paid to be part of one of his autotrade services & some courses but would not recommend him. When I first came across Simon T I liked the sound of him. At that time he didn't come across simply as a marketeer which he does now.

I guess the final nail in his credibility coffin for me is he ran a service with & recommended the fraud Simon Jousef, so .....

Note: I'm not saying Simon T is also necessarily a fraud, but if you sleep with dogs you get fleas so "a guilt by association" would cause ME to avoid him
